Joy Sundayis ready to dive back into the wicked world ofWednesday.
The actress, who was just announced asLancôme’s newest ambassador last week, told PEOPLE and Entertainment Weekly at the Emmy Awards 2023red-carpetshow on Monday that she’s “ready for the ride” that season 2 of the hitNetflixseries will bring.
“I really want to just get more into Bianca,” says Sunday, 27, referring to her character Bianca Barclay, the rival-turned-ally of protagonist Wednesday Addams (Jenna Ortega). “I’m really excited to see where she goes.”
She adds that she’s “also really excited for Ireland,” where the second season will be filmed.

Monday marked the actress’s first-ever Emmys, and she admits that she’s “jumping off the walls” to be at the event. “I don’t know if you can tell but I’m so, so, so excited.”
Shepreviously told PEOPLEahead of her red-carpet debut, “I am excited to truly make a statement. My Emmys debut is going to be monumental.”
Sunday made sure to also include a shoutout to her castmate Ortega, 21, who is up for outstanding actress in a comedy series, her first-ever Emmy nod.
“I’m rooting for Jenna!” she said.
