The couple, who wed in July 2022, told their families the happy news over the weekend. “Both our families are super happy,” says Derrick. He adds that his son,Derrick Jr., 14, “is very excited and can’t wait to be a big brother.”

As of now, Derrick, 40, and Nicole, 28, who is a nurse, do not know the sex of the child, but are planning a gender reveal party in the coming weeks.
Even as a father of two, Derrick, who hosts the popularChallenge Maniapodcastwith Scott Yager and who most recently competed onThe Challenge: All Starsseason 3, has no plans to retire hisChallengejerseys any time soon.
“The Challengehas always been a big part of my life and I will definitely be back if the timing is right, especially with two kids and a wife to support at home,” he says.
