They came, they trolled, they truced.

After sparring with each other for years,Ryan ReynoldsandHugh Jackmanannounced on their respective social media accounts Thursday that their friendly feud with each other has officially come to an end… for now, at least.

As a way to mend their “broken relationship,” the actors revealed their plans to make ads for each other’s companies — Reynolds is theowner of Aviation Gin, while Jackman is thecreator of Laughing Man Coffee— and of course, each expects to out-do the other.

“Official truce with @realhughjackman!” Reynolds, 42, wrote alongside ablack and white shotof the pair smiling as they shook hands. “As a gesture of goodwill, I’m gonna make a beautiful ad for his company, Laughing Man Coffee. Can’t wait!”

Jackman, 50, shared the same photo but hecaptioned his postwith, “Official truce! I’m going to make the most amazing ad for Aviation Gin. And, look forward to seeing what @Vancityreynolds comes up with in return”

TheDeadpoolactor later re-posted the same photo on his Instagram Stories from another user, but it was edited to include a grenade in their hands, a pin from the explosive weapon in Reynold’s mouth, and Jackman’s Wolverine claw behind his back in the mirror.

The spoof shot was captioned with “Look closely.”

The actors’ long-running feud stems back to 2015, when Jackmanposted a videoon his Instagram of Reynolds impersonating him — Australian accent, and all — in hisDeadpoolmakeup.

Since that time, Jackman and Reynolds, who co-starred inX-Men Origins: Wolverinein 2009, have continued their public trolling and found ways to poke fun at the other on social media. This past year was no different.

“Don’t give him too much attention,” Jackman said in the clip.

“Because I’m told that I AM THE NICEST GUY and you’re NOT. @VancityReynolds … I will let you hug me. Just this once. On your birthday,” he wrote alongside a picture of the pair embracing each other.

Reynolds quickly responded with a false claim. “This man is a monster,” he wrote. “He’s not even from Australia. He’s from Milwaukee.”

In response to his birthday trolling, Reynolds took their friendly feud to the next level and tweeted a fake political smear ad targeted against Jackman at the beginning of November, asking his followers, “How well do you really know Hugh Jackman?”

The video then listed a number of untrue facts about the actor.

“Hugh Jackman isn’t his real name. It’s Hugh Michael Jackman. Hugh Michael speaks with a charming accent, but he’s actually from Milwaukee. He then walked off the job atWolverine, adding to unemployment,” Reynolds alleged in the video, even as a note at the bottom of the screen read, “This is in no way true.”

“Is this the type of amazing actor and nice person we want delivering a preachy liberal speech this awards season? Or maybe there’s a real foreigner from a bordering country who would really love it a lot,” he added as a glamour shot of the Canadian actor popped up on the screen.

TheDeadpoolactor later shared a photo of the incident to his Instagram Stories. “These f–ing a——- said it was a sweater party.”

Meanwhile, Jackman and Gyllenhaal seemed extra-happy with themselves, the duo slapping one another’s hand in the candid shot.
