Kit HaringtonhostedSaturday Night Livethis weekend, and to celebrate the star brought some of Westeros’ most famous faces with him.
The British actor, who plays Jon Snow onGame of Thrones, has been tight-lipped as to the fate of theshow’s beloved charactersahead of its final season which premieres on April 14 — and true to form, he didn’tdrop any hintsduring his opening monologue.
“My name is Kit Harington, although many of you do probably know me as Jon Snow. Now, I’ve just shaved my beard so this is more of a pre-pubescent Jon Snow,” the 32-year-old actor said, before poking fun at some of the other projects he’s starred in throughout his career.
“Many of you’ve seen me onGame of Thrones, which is probably a good thing. Some of my other credits include the moviePompeii, which someone proved more of a disaster than the event [it was] based on,” he said. “I was also in a movie calledSilent Hill: Revelation 3D.Anyone a fan? No, I didn’t think so.”
After brushing off the question,Emilia Clarke, 32, who plays Daenerys Targaryen on the series, popped up, much to the delight of the crowd.
“Could you just give us a general sense of how it ends?” she pressed her costar.

When Harington reminded her that she already knows the ending because she’s in the series, Clarke replied, “Well yeah, but I forgot. It’s been so damn long since the last season.”
“Plus, a lot of my scenes are talking to a dragon, which is just a tennis ball on a green pole, so I have no idea what’s actually happening,” she added.
Actor John Bradley, 30, who plays Samwell Tarly, was also on hand to ask whether Harington knew “what happens” to his character.
“They only let me see two pages of the script. All my character says is ‘Aghhhhhh,’ Bradley explained.
Asked whether he remembered what the script said “right before that,” Bradley replied, “Dragon opens mouth.”
