The actor, who was named the ceremony’s host in December and thenstepped downfollowing backlash over previous homophobic tweets, posted a video of himself boxing on Instagram on Sunday night while theAcademy Awardstook place in Los Angeles.

“When you feel like u have nothing left is when you find a way to push & give more….Always grinding. #HustleHart …. Shoutout to@hollywoodhinofor always pushing,” Hart, 39,wrote, tagging professional boxer and trainer Hino Ehikhamenor.

After Hart relinquished the gig, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences decided to proceedwithout a hostfor this year’s show.

“That’s an attack to end me,” Hartsaidof the resurfacing of old homophobic tweets. “That’s not an attack to endthe Oscars, that’s an attack to end me. This was to destroy me. This was to end all partnerships, all brand relationships, all investment opportunities, studio relationships, my production company and the people who work underneath me. This was to damage the lives that had been invested in me. It’s bigger than justthe Oscars. It’s about the individuals who are out there now that are finding success in damage.”

“I called [The Academy], I said, ‘Kevin’s on, I have no idea if he wants to come back and host, but what are your thoughts?’ ” shesaidon the Jan. 4 show. “And they were like, ‘Oh my God, we want him to host. We feel like that maybe he misunderstood or it was handled wrong or maybe we said the wrong thing but we want him to host. Whatever we can do we would be thrilled. And he should hostthe Oscars.’ ”
