The mom-of-two made a show-stopping entrance at the annual festival held at the Victoria Eugenia Theater, located in the picturesque Basque city.
Chastain’s strapless Gucci gown featured a sweetheart neckline and dazzling layers of blue and white sequins. She teamed her look with gold platform Aquazzura heels and wore her long hair loose as she took selfies with fans.

Joining Chastain at the event wasMemorydirector Michael Franco. The new drama — which Franco also wrote and produced — tells the story of Sylvia (Chastain), a social worker who lives a simple life with her daughter until an encounter with a former classmate has far-reaching consequences for both of them, according to the film’sofficial synopsis.

The 44-year-old director, who comes from Mexico City, recalled to the outlet how he was told Chastain may “show up and be a nightmare and be a diva,” after she won herAcademy Award.
“I told them, you don’t know half of it. She’s the opposite. She’s going to show up satisfied, happy, and be productive," he said.
But Chastain —who shares a son and daughterwith husbandGian Luca Passi de Preposulo, 41, — told the the film industry website that nothing could be further from the truth.
