Emma Forbes, a U.K. radio and television presenter with ties to the royal family, predicts that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will be “more private” when raising their children – noting that despite being a very public couple, William and Kate have also valued their kids’ privacy.
“I think she will try to be quite low-key about it,” Forbes said of Meghan as a mom. “Whether she’ll be able to do that is another thing entirely.”
Forbes also believes that Meghan and Harry will follow Kate and William’s lead when it comes to giving the public glimpses of their family, the latest example being theadorable photosofPrince Louisreleased in honor of his first birthday.

“Kate has already gone against the grain with that becauseshe does all those pictures herself, which is lovely. They’re in their garden, and he’s gotgrass all over his sweater. They’re always quite candid pictures,” she says. “I feel like Meghan and Harry would definitely follow that trend and make them less formal.”

Forbes predicts that Meghan and Harry will follow in those footsteps even when it comes to the first photos of their new son or daughter.

Meghan and Harry may have an entirely different experience raising their child, if talks of themliving abroad in Africacome to fruition.
“I think it would be quite typically of Harry to do something like that,” Forbes says. “He’s also the royal who can do things like that. I think Harry’s got the potential to be able to do the bigger move to leave the country and do something like that.”
However, that doesn’t mean the transition will be simple, especially for Meghan.
