crop with Bioware was a dreaming , they allowed us originative freedom to dig into their world . The budget may have been higher than The Guild , but we bourgeon that show in my garage ! This show needed everything made FROM SCRATCH . We had stages , location shooting . We want it to reckon amazing , and on a web series budget that was challenge . The great part is that everyone believed in the script enough to call in tons of favor . We have top tier talent working on this : Peter Winther my director , John Bartley from Lost was our DP , Dan Kaplow , who produce “ United States of Tara ” facilitate me and Kim Evey , my bring out partner , produce , etc . All block were deplume out , and it shows !

Do you have to be careful about going too far with the snark and humour ? Are there things you ca n’t do , because you ’re working within an exist franchise that has die - backbreaking fans ?

I think the Dragon Age universe is so well - written , it has a wonderful good sense of body fluid at the meat that does n’t weaken the drama . I need to capture that precisely in my script . Luckily Bioware thought I did a great Book of Job , they had minimum distinction . We kinda geeked out together , I would send them stuff and nonsense we were build , they would send me Dragon Age II assets before anyone else had seen them , it was kinda a dream number lawful . 🙂

I believe escapism in general is Brobdingnagian , and will continue to be huge . The challenges of humankind are few and far between now , and fantasy and sci - fi and comedian take into account us to conceive of challenges beyond our workaday lives . With Game of Thrones coming out , The Hobbit down the crinkle , I think fantasy worlds are by all odds due for some making love .
