David Goyer , the co - writer of The Dark Knight that everyone always seems to forget about , is a busy man . clean from directing upcoming horror pic The Unborn , he ’s about to set in motion into an io9 - centric two - fer , writing the book for X - Men Origins : Magneto and a new interlingual rendition of The unseeable Man which take the familiar account in a much more modern-day - retro direction . Talking to MTV , Goyer speak about his attack to adapt HG Wells ’ tarradiddle :
My take is kind of an extrapolation . It actually trade with a nephew of the first fictional character . It ’s got some of the graphic symbol from the H.G. Wells Quran , but it ’s kind of a continuance … It kind of crosses a lot of genres . It ’s very steam toughie .
One of those other genres include the undercover agent movie – The secret plan orb around the Invisible Man becoming a undercover agent for the British government and abstract into “ imperialistic Russia ” , according to the author . And if you mean that you know what kind of movie to expect , Goyer ’s happy to tell you that you ai n’t seen nothing yet :

I do n’t want to give too much away , but I take what being unseeable could mean to the next logical extreme point … We do a lot of crazy thing in it that are sort of far beyond what anyone ’s done with it yet .
