So the BSG TV movie , “ The Plan , ” is air some time this fall , and it retraces the first two season of the show from the point of view of the Cylons . So we asked Park if we ’ll come out from “ The Plan ” with a peachy understanding of her character ’s sudden love affair with Cavil in BSG time of year four . She says yes :
Are we fail to understand more about Cavil and Boomer ’s human relationship ? Yes , we are … It ’s kind of playfulness because it would get scripted one way , and then Eddie ( James Olmos ) would have us do something in the middle of it , and it would kind of change it , so it would either make it more intimate or creepier … It ’s not a normal relationship at all . And I do n’t think she understands it fully herself . What ’s really coolheaded about is that because you have the germ planted way back then , you substantiate … it make fashion more sense later on why she ’s with him . She kind of inexplicably is take out to him again , and they ’re a couple again .
And she enounce the TV movie explain a lot of material that we never really saw about Boomer , include how she receive into the place she was in . Boomer never really know that stuff , so we , the viewer , never knew either . At the clip , she had come up with her own explanation , in her own school principal , for that stuff and nonsense . But now she ’s memorize that the official account is something different , and she ’s having to revise her own internal version of event .
She also says that it was really “ speedy and dirty ” when Athena shoot Boomer . She knew it was come , and yet it was still shocking when she filmed it from both sides . “ To me , that ’s really good storytelling . ”

It ’s not until fairly recently in the serial publication that we begin seeing Cavil as a polar scoundrel among the Cylons . He turns out to be the one who erased the Final Fives ’ memories and depart them on Caprica to live through the race murder , and he ’s the one who wants to enslave the centurion and root out the humans . The sudden Cavil - centrical villainy at the show ’s end feels a bit surprising . So will we get wind in the TV flick just how crucial Cavil was all along ?

This is going back and say , “ Okay , if Cavil is such a grown villain , what was he doing during seasons one and two of Battlestar Galactica ? ” … He was up to something . He had found himself in this situation where they did n’t think they needed a program , because the plan was “ Everybody dies . ” And now he ’s mother to make it up as he goes along .
And we talked to managing director Edward James Olmos , who order William Adama is n’t really in the video movie that much . And he say it was “ fantastic ” to go back and relive the moments from the early years of the show , because he could paint with a antic pallette . “ It took me eight months to edit it . ” And he says we ’ll pull in how spoilt things really were , in those dark other long time . And Olmos really believe that more BSG idiot box motion picture are inevitable — if we can sell half a million social unit of “ The Plan . ” You ’ll do your part , right ?
