Is it just a concert of Little Mermaid vocal with footage from the movie tie in ? Is it ABC finally realizing that it ’s owned by Disney and can therefore attempt to leverage decades of beloved musical movies — which arealready being cannibalized for bouncy action remakes on the big blind — to put down this eldritch musical style of live TV musicals ?
